Reheating to 750-800°C, heating to 1000-1040°C (when air-cooled) or 980°C (when quenched in oil).
Hardening in air or in oil.
Double tempering is recommended. Tempering should be carried out with the shortest possible delay after quenching. The tempering temperature should be selected according to the operating requirements. Heating should be slow and uniform.
When the workpiece has reached the desired temperature, a tempering time of at least sixty minutes is required. The second tempering is similar to the first tempering.
Heating to temperature (depends on the required hardness), seasoning. Cooling in air.
Temperature (hardness): 150°C(62-61 HRc), 200°C(61-60 HRc), 250°C(60-59 HRc), 300°C(57-56 HRc), 350°C(56-55 HRc), 400°C(56-55 HRc).
